Hi! I’m Desirae, a self-taught cake artist based in San Antonio, Texas.

I began decorating ice cream cakes in 2010, and what started as a creative outlet grew into more than 16 years of developing my craft. Over the years, I’ve worked with everything from buttercream and whipped cream to fondant, ganache and royal icing, continually learning new techniques and finding new ways to bring ideas to life.

What I love most about cake decorating is the artistry of it. I’m happiest creating cakes that are beautiful, playful and a little unexpected- the kind of designs that become part of the memory of a celebration, not just the dessert.
